The CTO (Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation) announces the
launch of the newsletter "ICT Development Agenda"
(http://www.ictdevagenda.org) and invites you to register. ICT
Development Agenda is a weekly, web-based publication which provides
objective information about major international developments in
Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). In particular,
this unique resource provides clear and objective summaries of the
outcomes of key decision-making meetings and the content of important
reports. The newsletter is intended for those responsible for
decision-making on international and national ICT issues in
developing countries, and those seeking to contribute to that
decision-making process. The project is supported by the UK
government's Department for International Development (DFID).
The CTO is a partnership between Commonwealth governments,
telecommunications businesses and other organisations to promote ICT
in the interests of consumers, businesses and social and economic
development. The CTO manages a large number of projects, and is also
the lead agency on policy and regulation of ICTs in DFIDs Building
Digital Opportunities (BDO) programme. [...]
