[India] Computerization of various state departments in Haryana

NIC Haryana develops five softwares 

PANCHKULA: The Haryana unit of National Informatics Centre (NIC) has 
developed a package of five softwares to "improve efficiency of 
various departments of the state government". 

These five softwares are payroll system, personnel information 
system, court cases monitoring system, diary or despatch (DAK) 
monitoring meetings information monitoring systems, state informatics 
officer, G Bansal, said here on Tuesday. 

He said that the user manual and installation guide had been prepared 
for each package. The coding scheme for employee code and department 
code, as standardised by haryana finance department had been 
incorporated in payroll and personnel information systems, he added. 

The databases to be created under these packages would be integrated 
and form an important component of the proposed Central Data 
Repository (CDR) of the state government employees in future. (PTI)
