agreement to this is to be signed between MIT and the Indian government
shortly, with India expected to bear 20 percent of the $1 billion cost.
Unconfirmed reports also say the Foreign Investment Promotion Board is
about to clear an FDI proposal worth Rs 5000 million for AOL's entry into
India. These two developments signify a strong invester confidence in the
Internet Economy of India.
