Yeah, de-aggregation is pretty bad practice... One thing you can do is to
buy your transit on the mainland, and just use two different satellite
carriers for the backhaul, and do your own internal load balancing (which
can use exactly the same mechanism, but) which won't make a mess visible
to other people, outside your network. I know of quite a few folks on the
end of satellite links who do this.
