[pacnog] moving PacNOG forward

Dear all,

An open discussion was held with participants at PacNOG 2 to address  
how we can continue
to move PacNOG forward especially in events/workshop/training  
facilitation.

There was also information sharing of how other NOGs run their events  
- eg. NZNOG, AfNOG, SANOG, NANOG
Participants expressed they wanted to hear more case studies  
particularly in "how to do this situations" and discussions on
operational issues.

Alex Abraham has accepted to chair the first steering committee to be  
supported with a group of voluntary members.
They will oversee arrangements and program content development /  
liaison for the next PacNOG 3.
Alex's experience from hosting PacNOG 2 will provide guidance to the  
next host.
3 organisations/countries have expressed their interests to host the  
next event.

The next steps now is to re-confirm those that had volunteered to  
support Alex as steering committee members.

The names I received are:
Kamoe (Fiji), Michael (Marshall Islands), Kapeni (Samoa) and a local  
host once confirmed.
Philip Smith, Fred Christopher, Steve Huter (NSRC), Mirjam and I will  
still lend support.
