Changing the ML name

Dear Colleagues,

At APNIC 15, recently held in Taiwan, it was decided that the Open NIR
Meeting should become a Special Interest Group (SIG) - the NIR SIG.

The APNIC Secretariat is implementing the change and will activate a new
mailing list ("sig-nir") for the NIR SIG on Wednesday 26 March 2003.

The "nir-discuss" mailing list will close but the archive will remain
accessible from the APNIC mailing list index page at:

   http://www.apnic.net/community/lists/

All subscribers to the current list ("nir-discuss") will be transferred
to the new list. If you have any mail filters in place you may wish to
adjust them in preparation for the changeover.

To post messages to the "sig-nir" from Wednesday 26 March, please use
the new address - <sig-nir@lists.apnic.net>.

If you have any comments or questions please send them the nir-discuss
list before close of business on Tuesday 25 March 2003,
<nir-discuss@lists.apnic.net>.
