NIR Folks,

The due date passed but I'd like to remind you of the 
application if you prepare for it but just forgot to apply.

I've got the intent from 
	Paul Wilson, APNIC	on NIR Criteria Document
	Anne Lord, APNIC	on NIR Policy Structure
	Sanjaya, APNIC		on IPv6 RMS Project Update
	Billy MH Cheon, KRNIC	on Prototype of IPv6 Registry System
	Vu Xuan Bach, VNNIC	Request for NIR Re-Activation & 
				VNNIC's Entry to NIR Community

Five for 90 minutes is almost full, but we may be able to 
accept one more.


Presenters, would you present your stuff onto this list for 
discussion in advance?

           Call For Presentations for the Open NIR Meeting

The Open NIR meeting will be held in Kitakyushu, Japan on Wednesday 
September 4th, 2002 during the APNIC Open Policy Meeting. This meeting 
is an open forum to discuss issues relating to the operation and 
management of NIRs within the Asia Pacific region.

Open NIR Meeting will be held on

	Wednesday September 4th, 2002
	11:00 -- 12:30


This e-mail is a request for contributions.  Presentations of relevance 
>from anyone who is interested in this subject is particularly welcome.  

If you would like to take part in this meeting with a presentation, 
please send your proposal to nir-discuss@lists.apnic.net  cc'ing 
sig@apnic.net.   Suggestions for a proposals should be sent no later 
than the Thursday 1st August 2002.  

Requirements

The proposal:

- should be relevant to this special interest group,
- be no more than 1000 words, and
- should describe your perspective on the topic including its pros/cons
  from various aspects.
- should indicate the time required (a time limit of 10-15 minutes
  per presentation will be set)

A Guide has been prepared for all those intending to present at the 
meeting. It contains useful information and helpful hints. This guide can

The schedule is:

 * Monday 2nd July       - Call for presentation
 * Thursday 1st  August  - Deadline for submitting content 
                            (proposals, presentations) 
 * Thursday 15th August  - Deadline for receiving slides for 
                             printing
 * Tuesday 3rd September - Open Policy Meeting commences
