Open NIR Meeting: Proposal to report IPv6 Resource Management System Project
Dear Maemura san,
TWNIC would like to propose for a presentation with two issues focused
at the Open NIR meeting in Bangkok.
Topic: Status report for TWNIC's fee structure and IPv6 activities in
Taiwan
Duration: 15 mins
Description:
1. Introduction to TWNIC's new fee structure.
As we are going to release a new fee scheme, TWNIC would like to keep
other NIRs and APNIC up-to-date how we charge IP allocations.
2. Taiwan IPv6 status report - Acts from th government and industry
Including a brief introduction to the two being formed domestic
IPv6-related organizations, IPv6 Steering Committee (expected Feb.02)
and IPv6 Forum Taiwan (expected Mar.02).
Thank you!

Topic: IPv6 Resource Management System Project Status
Duration: 15 mins
Description:
IPv6 introduces a large address space to be managed by internet
registries, providers and end-users. Recording and managing the
usage of this large address space could be a challenging task for
everyone concerned. In anticipation of this, APNIC is coordinating
the development of IPv6 Resource Management System together will all
NIRs in the region. This report will highlight the result of our first
meeting in Yokohama (Dec 7th 2001) and present the follow up works of
that meeting. The presentation will cover the project scope, identified
key processes, and some preliminary data structures and object
architectures. We hope to get feedbacks during the presentation,
especially in user requirements area and ideas on how NIRs could work
together to speed up the development of this system.
