[Urgent] NIR Meeting at APRICOT - Asking your response

Dear NIR members.
This is Seung-Min Lee at KRNIC.
As you know, we will have NIR meeting at APRICOT 2000.
(Check appeded agenda below)
As the chair of NIR meeting, I announced meeting and sent invitation
e-mail to NIR members but, I have not much feedback from NIR members.
Therefore, I kindly request all of you to response followings.
1. please response your comment or idea about the agenda.
2. please post discussion documents who prepare the discussion items.
3. please tell me who will attend NIR meeting and how many attendees from
each NIR member.
Let's check each item by each.

The first item :

we only got response from CNNIC only.
I will appreciate if other NIR members send your comment about the agenda to
nir-discuss mailing group.

Second item :

For the meeting, we must distribute discussion document in prior to actual
meeting.
The reason is, as you already know, that other NRI member can have
opportunity
to understand the idea and currnet status of each items and to prepare
comments
for them.
Up to now, we got only three discussion documents have been posted.
3. "Dispatch a staff" proposal by KRNIC
4 a) overview of current address request status and
c) principles of operation on an NIR.
Following is the present status of posing document.
Documents have not been posted must be posted until 19th of February
to give chance to other NIR member read it and prepare comments.
So, I kindly request all of you who prepare the discussion items to put
on the document soon.

o Short presentation by APNIC on what are the principles of operation
of NIR. (APNIC - Anne/Paul) : Posted
- Looking for other NIR feedback for this "Dispatch a staff" proposal

I hope our NIR meeting will be held successfully and be a good chance to
work together, in addition, it will provide a clear framework for new NIRs.

SUBJECT : Agenda for NIR SIG Meeting on March 1st, 2000
The NIR SIG meeting will begin at 19:00 on March 1st, 2000 at "rose" room
sheraton Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul, Korea. At this special meeting, we will
discuss about how to improve the relation between NIRs and APNIC and
the procedure for IP address management for NIR.
Due to the limitation of Seats, I, as chair, kindly request that the
maximum attendees from each NIR are 3.
Please come prepared to discuss the following topics. And if you have any
comment on Agenda or anything you want to discuss at NIR Meeting, please
send draft idea at nir-discuss@apnic.net mailing list. The due date for
comment and idea is Feb 15, 2000.
