SUBJECT : Agenda for NIR SIG Meeting on March 1st, 2000


 The NIR SIG meeting will begin at 19:00 on March 1st, 2000 at "rose" room
sheraton Walkerhill Hotel, Seoul, Korea. At this special meeting, we will
discuss
about how to improve the relation between NIRs and APNIC and the procedure
for IP address management for NIR.

 Due to the limitation of Seats, I, as chair, kindly request that the
maximum
attendees from each NIR are 3.

Please come prepared to discuss the following topics. And if you have any
comment on Agenda or anything you want to discuss at NIR Meeting, please
send draft idea at nir-discuss@apnic.net mailing list. The due date for
comment
and idea is Feb 15, 2000.

          - the allocation window implementation?
          - brainstorming - what needs fixing, priorities.
          - how to align evaluation methods and criteria?
            (common training document?)

   b) IPv6

       o Current Process and Policy for IPv6 address allocation for NIR
           in APNIC's view point - APNIC
       o Status of how one request process works  - JPNIC
       o Feedback from other NIRs

   c) NIR

       o What is NIR?
          - Short presentation by APNIC on what are the principles of
             operation (APNIC - Anne/Paul)
       o Feedback from other NIRs
