Dear colleague
When your organisation first applied for membership with APNIC, you were
nominated as a contact person for your organisation's APNIC member account.
As a contact person, your email address was subscribed to a closed APNIC
members-only mailing list so you could receive important news about APNIC
and your member account.
This APNIC members-only mailing list will soon be deprecated and replaced
by an improved new mailing system that ensures you will only receive
APNIC information that is most appropriate to your needs.
If you wish to continue to receive information from APNIC after the
members-only mailing list is closed, please do one of the following:
1. Check that you are listed as a contact in MyAPNIC
2. Subscribe to one of APNIC's public mailing lists

APNIC's new mailing system uses the contact types available in MyAPNIC to
tailor information we send to your organisation.
MyAPNIC is a secure way to access APNIC services, such as managing your
organisation's IP address space and voting online. You can also use
MyAPNIC to specify different types of contacts for your organisation. The
new APNIC mailing system uses these contacts to make sure APNIC sends the
right type of information to the right people at your organisation.
Your organisation's corporate contact, who represents your organisation in
all matters related to APNIC, has the authority to add and remove all
contact types associated with your APNIC account.
Please ensure that the contacts for your organisation's APNIC account are
properly registered with APNIC.

You can still receive general APNIC announcements via the following APNIC
mailing lists:
<apnic-announce@apnic.net>
One-way announcements from the APNIC Secretariat to the general
public.
<apnic-talk@apnic.net>
General purpose discussion forum to talk about anything related to
APNIC and to receive announcements from the APNIC Secretariat. If
you are a member of this list, do not subscribe to
<apnic-announce@apnic.net<, otherwise you will receive duplicate
mails.
To subscribe to APNIC mailing lists, please go to:
http://www.apnic.net/community/lists/
If you do not wish to receive announcements from APNIC, you do not need
to take any action as this list will be deprecated on 11 May 2006.
