[APNIC Members] [Apnic-announce] ICANN and the NRO sign ICANN ASOMoU

Dear Colleagues

On October 21, 2004 ICANN and the Number Resource Organization (NRO) 
signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Address 
Supporting Organization (ASO).

This document was signed at the ARIN XIV Public Policy Meeting in 
Reston, Virginia. The agreement stipulates how the NRO will fulfil the 
role, responsibilities, and functions of the ASO as outlined in the 
ICANN Bylaws.
