Final Call for Nominations
Asia-Pacific Representative to the ASO Address Council
______________________________________________________


This is the final call for nominations of individuals from the Asia
Pacific region, to serve on the ASO Address Council. During October
2002, one Asia Pacific Address Council seat will become vacant, and will
be filled for the next three years by an individual nominated through
this open call.

The selection process will involve an open election to be held during
the APNIC Open Policy Meeting, in Kitakyushu, Japan, on 5 September
2002.

the call for nominations, the online nomination form, and a list of
nominees are available at:

Proxy voting
-------------
If you are not able to attend the election, but still wish your vote to
be counted, you can use the Proxy form to appoint another APNIC member
to carry your vote. The Proxy form is available at:

Proxy Forms must be returned to APNIC by 9am AEST (UTC+10) on Tuesday, 3
September 2002. Please note, proxy voting is only available for APNIC
members.
