[APNIC Members] ISOC NDSS'01 Registration for APNIC Members
Dear APNIC Member,
As a Platinum Sponsor of ISOC, APNIC has received some complimentary
registrations for the NDSS'01 Security Symposium. Also, we are entitled to
a 25% discount on the fee for additional registrations.
On account of APNIC's non-profit and membership-based structure, ISOC has
approved the transfer of these benefits to APNIC members. Therefore, if you
would like to attend NDSS as an APNIC member and receive either a
complimentary or discounted registration, please contact APNIC immediately,
by email to Kyoko Day <kyoko@apnic.net>
NOTES: Complimentary registrations are strictly limited and will be
allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, with a limit of one
registration per APNIC member. The 25% registration discount is available
to all members, but will be available only for the NDSS conference, and not
for tutorials.
I would like to gratefully acknowledge ISOC's support of the APNIC community
through this very generous offer.
Best regards,

Subject: APNIC - NDSS'01 Complimentary Registration
The Internet Society is pleased to offer to all Platinum supporters,
complimentary registrations for our Network and Distributed System Security
Symposium (NDSS'01), being held 7-9 February 2001, in San Diego, CA at the
Catamaran Resort hotel (http://www.isoc.org/ndss01/).
As you probably already know, NDSS'01 is the premier Symposium on Network
and Distributed System Security and is held annually. In fact, this is the
8th NDSS symposium held and it brings together researchers, implementers,
and users of network and distributed system security technologies to
discuss today's important security issues and challenges. The Symposium
provides a mix of technical papers and panel presentations describing
promising new approaches to security problems that are practical, and, to
the extent possible, have been implemented. The Symposium also fosters the
exchange of technical information and encourages the Internet community to
deploy available security technologies and develop new solutions to
unsolved problems.
As APNIC is a significant supporter, you are entitled to send 5
representatives free of charge to NDSS'01. This is a $2475 value and we
hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity. In addition, ISOC
will offer a 25% discount on additional registrations.
NDSS registration forms are available at
http://www.isoc.org/ndss2001/ndss_reg_form.pdf. The forms for your
complimentary registrations as well as the discounted registrations should
be faxed to my attention at +1 703 326 9881. If I can assist you in any
way with the registration process, please contact me via email or by phone,
+1 703 326 9880, Ext. 104.
ISOC is grateful for the support of our Platinum members and we would like
to take this opportunity to thank you and encourage you to take advantage
of this great benefit.
See you in San Diego!
Best regards,
Michele
