Internet Governance caucus
For those of you
interested in offering views from Asia on Internet Governance, please subsribe
to the Internet Governance caucus. There are very few Asian voices now. You can
go to www.wsis-cs.org and look for list of
caucuses, and then sign on for Internet Governance caucus. You may also wish to
know that some of the webcasts of the Internet Governance sessions can
be found on the ITU site on www.wsis.org.
Check also www.wgig.org to get info on the
working doc. The Chair's current report should be found online soon, which will
be used as the negotiating document for next week.
If I get an
indication that you are interested in the summaries posted by volunteers here in
Geneva to the caucus list, I can help repost it. Let me know. I am only here tll
Tuesday and will be watching things virtually as well. Please join the caucus
list and give your inputs if you think you have something to add value.
Remember, the discussion on Internet Governance is not just IP addresses and
domain names, but also policy issues regarding spam, privacy, security, capacity
building, etc.
