Re: a question re internet use in Asia

David,

Allocations of IP addresses provide one view of the development of Internet infrastructure, based on a consistent set of allocation policies throughout the region (and around the world for that matter).

You can find a number of reports and presentations on the APNIC website, particularly at:

http://www.apnic.net/community/presentations

Also, if you are interested in performing some numerical analysis based on raw allocation data, please see the files available at:

http://ftp.apnic.net/stats/

These cover not only APNIC but the other RIRs as well.

I hope this helps with your work.

Paul Wilson
APNIC.

Hi all

I am currently researching an article on internet use
in Asia. If anybody is able to lay their hands on
statistics and information about use across Asia,
either country specific or for the region, could you
please forward me the information.

Cheers
David
