The second round of ICANN meetings in 2003 will be held
22-26 June in Montréal, Canada. The meetings are free to
attend, and open to any interested person. ICANN encourages
broad participation in its bottom-up consensus-development
process. You can take part in these meetings by attending
in person, by taking part in the webcast and remote
participation opportunities, and/or by joining one of the
various ICANN-related mailing lists.

ALJAZEERA.NET Hijacker Pleads Guilty To Us Federal Charges
A Californian website developer, who duped Network
Solutions (formerly Verisign) into giving him control of
the domain name account for Al Jazeera, the Arabic-language
media organisation, has agreed to plead guilty to two US
felony charges of wire fraud and unlawful interception of
an electronic communication.

Zombie Parody Defence Wins Dispute
Clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch have lost a domain
dispute relating to "aberzombie.com" - a web site which
parodies their clothing range and sells "Aberzombie"
tee-shirts which according to the complaint "mocked and
disparaged the Complainants' trademark and...merchandise".
