general internet news - 3 April
Hi all
As this illegal war is happening in the Middle East, I know
there are those wanting to hear more than the pro-American
press and news sources that don't sack their reporters for
telling the truth, as did NBC. So if this is you, you
should check out the following:
The Independent - http://news.independent.co.uk and
especially the comment section at
http://argument.independent.co.uk
The Guardian - http://www.guardian.co.uk and their comment
section at
http://www.guardian.co.uk/comment/0,6957,178089,00.html.
The above is aimed mainly at those reading the news from
the USA, which I'm reliably informed, dare not criticise
the war with no more than kid gloves, ie, there is very
little criticism at all.
And for those wanting to read Peter Arnett's column, this
being the reporter sacked by NBC for telling the truth in
that the war is not going to plan, see the UK's Daily
Mirror at http://www.mirror.co.uk.
Cheers
