  well Jim I am absolutely prepared to listen to you ideas as to why it wasn't isn't a debacle but i am going to have to be convinced by fresh information.

ICANN fur damn sure a debacle....  

you role there in?  based on what is known it is hard fo me to come to a definite conclusion..... based on how fast the rutt reports disappeared, it looks to me like some one or something managed to get you to execute quite a U-tun

  I'll have to go see if I still have a copy of Rutt Report #1.  As I recall it, it actually wasn't anti-ICANN, rather it was anti an over-reaching ICANN.  I will admit, however, that it was very carefully crafted (with out a doubt the most re-written and heavily editted doc I ever wrote, despite it's rather "folksy" style) to be  "Clintonian", so folks could read in it what they wanted!!!!
