Event:

ITU TELECOM ASIA 2002

The sixth ITU event for the Asia-Pacific region since 1985 will bring together the key telecoms players in the region.

The exhibition will showcase the telecoms industry while the forum will discuss, debate and define the future shape of the telecoms sector.

ASIA 2002 is your opportunity to: shape the future of telecommunications in the Asia-Pacific region; network with leaders in the world of telecommunications; make business contacts; select future suppliers; and be part of a truly pan-Asian event.

Be There and meet the Future

Venue:

Hong Kong, China

Dates:

2 to 7 December 2002

Organizer:

International Telecommunication Union (ITU)

The ITU was established as an intergovernmental organization in 1865 to promote connectivity between its member countries, and since 1947 has been a specialized agency of the United Nations.

During the past half-century, with the introduction of the information economy, its mission -- to improve global connectivity and bring telecoms services within reach of all the world's people -- has become ever more relevant.
