Study: Kids’ web sites often confusing for students (eSchool News)
Children don’t have the patience to navigate the complex designs of
many of the web sites targeted to their age group, according to a

- European Internet usage climbed to almost 40% of the population in
2001 (i.e. 151 million Western Europeans were online by year-end
2001).
- Germany and the UK are still leading in terms of absolute number
of users, whereas the Nordics are still the frontrunners in terms of
penetration rates.
- Mobile Internet is in its infancy and still shows limited
adoption. However, mobile users is the fastest growing sub segment
and is forecasted to grow by 64% each year until 2006.
