World Congress on IT & Global Summit of Online Knowledge Networks
A reminder for those who are interested, the World Congress on IT
starts tomorrow (27 February) in Adelaide and finishes on 1 March.
Following this is the Global Summit of Online Knowledge Networks to
be held in Adelaide, Australia, on 4 and 5 March 2002. It will aim to
bring together leaders, specialists and policy makers from Australia
and around the world to share experiences and explore future
directions in the development and management of online learning,

A new breed of superviruses hidden in the content of email messages
will stretch IT security to the limit, experts warn.
With the incidence of virus-infected emails surging fivefold in a
year, filtering the content of every email was looming as a vast
security task for companies and would inevitably slow down email
delivery.

Those wishing to ban Internet pornography are waging an improbable
battle, but it's not for lack of effort. 
If a special committee set up by the Mumbai High Court gets its way,
