Should Internet service providers (ISPs) be held responsible for
illegal activities committed by their users? The U.S. Communications
Decency Act (CDA) generally says, "no," but the courts are still
interpreting the scope of that protection. This article explains what
the CDA provides and how the courts are applying it to shield ISPs
from legal liability.
