To whom it may concern:
I have been advised that it would be a good idea to come to this forum and
post regarding current events at ServInt Internet Services. ServInt has
recently experienced significant problems with UCE, particularly in
regards to UCE routed on APNIC blocks across ServInt's network.
Over the past three days, ServInt has de-routed all APNIC blocks, and has
shut down numerous customers who had multiple problems with UCE.
We had an administrative staff that simply did not understand the scope of
what was going on. The rest of the organization was, because of this,
insulated from the severity of the problems. From this point on, there
will be a new team handling admin duties at ServInt.
For those of you with interest, please look and see that we are not
routing APNIC blocks. There may be even more that is necessary to keep
problems taken care of, but we are committed to rectifying things. We have
been in the business nine years, and are unwilling to sacrifice our good
standing in order to facilitate this nonsense. Many of you may question
this, which is to be expected, but the pure fact is that serious actions
have been taken. The mistakes that led to this unfortunate oversight will not be
repeated.
Thank you for your time,
