[apops] JPNAP

Regarding JPNAP, it seems they only offer FE and GbE ports by
colocating a router in the Tokyo Sankei building or the NTTCom
Otemachi building. Internet Multifeed's vision of a "distributed IX
service" offering "ISPs a free choice of interfaces" is scheduled for
2002. What technology will the photonic IX service use? The trial
service seems to have been up since January 2001 and commercial
service seems to have started in April 2001. Is there any feedback
from participants? Is anybody using "multifeed systems" or "multifeed
technology" and, if so, what do those vague terms refer to?

Regards,
Sharif
