o Have APOPS meetings coincide w/ APNIC meetings similar to EOF and RIPE.
  Therefore, next APOPS meeting will be in Taiwan September 2001.
o Gather information from regional operator forums e.g. JANOG and present
  updates at APOPS meetings.
o Use mailng list for questions. A question that is asked has a better chance
  of being answered.
o Operational information on service interruptions such as recent submarine
  cable cut that took ~10 days to restore would be useful.
o JANOG history, organization, typical agenda and working groups was
  presented by Hideo Ishi.
o AFNOG group was referenced. See AFNOG mailing list archives for good
  example of discussions.
o Contact Philip Smith or Hideo Ishi if interested in contributing information
  or speaking, however brief, at future APOPS meetings.
