[apnic-talk] [Apnic-announce] APNIC talk and APNIC announce mailing lists

Dear colleagues,

In an effort to streamline subscriptions to APNIC mailing lists and  
to avoid duplicate
mails being sent to the same person, the membership lists apnic- 
announce@apnic.net
and apnic-talk@apnic.net were rearranged. Regretfully this caused  
some mails being
sent to the wrong recipient and we sincerely apologise for this error.

This problem has now been rectified, and you should be getting  
announcements from
the correct mailing list as before.

For those new to APNIC, the purpose of the mailing lists are as follows:

apnic-announce@apnic.net
   One-way announcements from APNIC secretariat to the general public

apnic-talk@apnic.net
   General purpose discussion forum to talk about anything related  
to APNIC,
   and also to receive announcements from APNIC secretariat. If you  
are a member of
   this list, do not subscribe to apnic-announce@apnic.net,  
otherwise you will
   receive duplicate mails.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact APNIC at  
helpdesk@apnic.net.
