[Apnic-announce] Reminder - NRO Number Council nominations close soon

Dear colleagues

This is a final reminder that nominations for the NRO Number Council election close on 8 August.

>From 31 December 2006, one Asia Pacific Number Council seat will become vacant. There will be an open election to be held during the APNIC 22 Open Policy Meeting in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Friday 8 September, 2006. APNIC members may also vote online using MyAPNIC from 29 August to 8 September.

The elected individual must be willing to serve a three-year term, beginning 1 January, 2007.
