[Apnic-announce] ICANN NomCom Issues Call for Statements of Interest

Dear colleagues

The ICANN Nominating Committee (NomCom) is inviting Statements of  
Interest from all members of the Internet community as it seeks  
candidates for the following positions:

     * Three members of the ICANN Board of Directors
     * One member of the Council of the Generic Names
       Supporting Organization (GNSO)
     * One member of the Council of the Country-Code
       Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO)
     * Two members of the At Large Advisory Committee (ALAC)

Statements of Interest can be submitted by e-mail to  
<nomcom.submissions@icann.org> and should be received by July 16,  
2006 for full consideration.

Selections will be announced before October 31 and successful  
candidates will begin their terms in December 2006.
