Call For Presentations in the 3rd Address Policy SIG:

The 3rd Address Policy SIG will be held in Taipe on August 29, 2001.
This policy SIG is an open address policy forum
for Asia-Pacific region. Consensus points reached in this meeting
will be reported to APNIC General Meeting, and finally decided
if they are to be incorporated in APNIC formal documents.
In order to make the address policy SIG as open as possible,
the SIG is going to give an opportunity to all people from Asia-Pacific
area to raise any address policy issue. The SIG is actively
seeking presentations from all of you from the Asia-Pacific
region. Please send your proposal to arano@byd.ocn.ad.jp,
cc-ing to sig@apnic.net. Proposals should be sent no later
than June 25, 2001.
Requirements
The proposal:
- should be related to address policy
- should be within 1000 words,
and
- should describe your perspective on the topic including its pros/cons
from various aspects.
The tentative schedule is:
Friday 1 June 2001 - call for proposals by SIG chairs
Monday 25 June 2001 - Submission of proposals closes
Friday 29 June 2001 - Notification of acceptance of proposals by
SIG chairs
Monday 23 July 2001 - Submission of papers closes
Friday 27 July 2001 - Posting of papers on the web site
Tuesday 29 August 2001 - Open Policy Meeting commences
