Dear Takahashi-san, It is important and useful have a BOF on this subject, as well as getting a diversity of participants at the APRICOT meeting - especially Ira Magaziner. It is unfortunate that so many of the current forums and parties dealing with this subject are remote from the AP region. Let me assure you that the Green Paper process has now been accepted by virtually all parties as the means for moving forward and achieving sustainable, lawful administrative arrangements for the Internet. It will be critically important for AP communities to get involved in the Green Paper process, as well as the various activities and bodies that flow out of it. At the Internet Executive Summit held this week in the Washington DC area, the subject of participating parties was treated. An overview on the subject can be found at: <http://www.ngi.org/public_presentations.htm> --tony
